In der Dunkelwelt
“In der Dunkelwelt” is a contemporary dance piece produced by Dschungel Wien (Vienna), Tanzkomplizen (Berlin) and Theater Casino Zug (Switzerland), with Joachim Schloemer (choreography) and Corinne Eckenstein (dramaturgy). The dancers are Maartje Pasman, Yusimi Moya Rodriguez and Sami Similä.
It was presented at Theater Casino Zug, Switzerland, Schillertheater-Werkstatt, Berlin, Germany, Dschungel Wien, Vienna, Austria, and Tanzfestival Winterthur, Switzerland, in 2020. Unfortunately, because of the Covid-19 crisis several shows were postponed or cancelled. The tour will continue in 2021 and 2022.
The highly energetic, dark contemporary dance piece with its three dancers was developed for an audience of children and teenagers. It talks about overcoming fear, risky ventures and new experiences which are part of this period in life. On tour, several workshops and talks with the dancers and the choreographer were held after the show.
