Bailando

“Bailando” is a dance musical produced by the Austrian dance studio Tumbao, the hot spot for South American dance classes and shows in Vienna. Yusimi Moya Rodriguez was dancing the main part of the story about a Cuban dancer’s life and journey through various geographical spots around the globe and their local dance genres, from salsa, mambo, son, cha cha chá and rumba to samba, tango, capoeira and hip hop.

A huge cast of dancers from all over South America contributed with their knowledge and experience to the piece. Many of them work regularly as dance teachers in the Tumbao dance academy in Vienna, Austria, Yusimi Moya Rodriguez is also giving classes there for dancers on Afro-Cuban and Cuban popular dance styles. The dance show was on tour through various theaters in Austria and Germany in 2014.

The video shows a trailer of the show, which was recorded on a previous tour, before Yusimi Moya Rodriguez started to dance in the piece.
